Mukuru Florals
A floral, fruit-forward espresso bursting with grenadine, lime and blackcurrant, all wrapped in dark chocolate. Turns your morning cappuccino into dessert. Life’s too short — have cake for breakfast.
Farm and Coffee
Mukuru Florals comes from the slopes of Mt Elgon, where cool air and rich volcanic soils help coffee thrive. The cherries grow between 1,800 and 2,000 masl and are brought to The Coffee Yard, the drying and quality hub created by Norman Mukuru. The result in the cup is smooth and mellow with notes of caramel and milk chocolate, red apple, and a touch of stone fruit sweetness. The body is medium and round, the texture silky, and the gentle acidity carries into a clean finish. Think comforting sweetness first, then bright fruit, all wrapped in a balanced and friendly cup that is easy to love whether you are new to specialty coffee or already deep in it.
Social and Ecological
This coffee exists thanks to many smallholder farmers who are registered with The Coffee Yard and supported through a network of lead farmers and buying agents. The team collects data for full traceability and to meet rules like the European Union Deforestation Regulation. Over recent years Norman and his team have trained the network to reach recognised standards such as Rainforest Alliance Certification. The Coffee Gardens and Norman work closely to lift quality across Mt Elgon, which means better prices and steadier demand for farming families. Clear records, careful training, and responsible sourcing create a simple promise for drinkers and producers alike. Good farming supports healthy landscapes, and healthy landscapes grow better coffee.
